HOOK BRACELETS
Known as Cruzan Hook bracelets, Island bracelets, St Croix Hooks, Carribean
Hooks, Love bracelets, Horshoe bracelets etc.. these simple bracelets
have been around for a long time. Hook bracelets started as 'St. Croix
Hooks' or 'Cruzan Hooks' in the 1970's and 80's. All Hook bracelets
were made only on St. Croix. The "C" hook stands for St. Croix.
Now most are imported from all over the world, marketed with new stories
about the origin and meaning . We have been making our own style hook
bracelets for 3 decades.
The 'hook' part is most commonly made by bending round wire into a 'C'.
We cast our hooks, which is much more difficult, but gives them a full
bodied shapely look, and greater strength. We do a "C" hook
for Cruzans, a "J" hook for St. Johnians, a "T"
hook for St Thomians etc. Whatever they are called, Carribean Bracelets,
Island bracelets, Hook bracelets, Horseshoe bracelets, Love bracelets,
etc., ours are available in more variations than we can show here. They
come in 14 K Yellow, 14K white, or 14K two- tone, in 2 1/2 thru 10mm
widths. We sell them by the gold weight, so that prices are easy to
compare to other hook bracelets. Our prices average $23./per gram, which
is about $7. per gram below the going rate. Because we price by weight,
the price varies from samples here for larger and smaller wrist size.
